During an emergency, an Incident Command System assists in the command, contral, and coordination of all efforts aimed at protecting life, preserving property, supporting the emergency response and stabilizing operations of a health care site. This course is designed to align with current practices and teminology established by the National Response Plan, the National Incident Management System, the Federal Emergecny Management Agency and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
